Feedback provided to the tutee: Je-won did an excellent job at understanding different types of questions as well as dealing with adverbs of frequency. This tutoring session I was first introducing him to adverbs of frequency. For example, words such as often, sometimes, never, and always. After introducing these terms, we went over an activity that applied these words. I asked him basic questions in which he would respond with a frequency-related term. In this activity, I asked questions like "How often do you paint" and other questions he could understand. After this activity, we worked on a reading section that used these adverbs of frequency. The goal of this reading was to give exposure to the use of all of these terms. I also gave him a few comprehension questions after reading it together to measure how well he understood the text and the new terms learned. To end this tutoring session, we applied the verb "like" in different situations.
