Topic/Skill: Modal auxillary verbs continued - could, would, should

Feedback Provided to Tutee: As a continuation of our lesson last session, I went over a presentation about modal auxillary verbs. The focus during this presentation was on could, should, and would. The hardest part of this lesson for Hussam was that some sentences can use any of these words and they would be grammatically correct, but with the implied context of the situation, one of the auxillary verbs would be more appropriate. It took Hussam a couple tries to find these patterns in the meanings of the words and apply them to the sentences correctly.

Lessons about the tutoring and/or the tutee that you learned: Hussam has told me that he enjoys lesson where he is learning English concepts that will improve his casual and professional speech. Since some of these modal auxillary verbs are used to give advice or imply meaning or intent, he said that he is happy that he can use more complex way to express these ideas without stating them directly.
