Feedback provided to tutee: For this tutoring session, I conducted the diagnostic with Shatha to gauge her level of English and hear from her what she is interested in learning about. Because it was only the diagnostic session, not much feedback was given to Shatha during the lesson. I took what I learned from the diagnostic to create her future lesson plans.
Lessons about tutoring and/or tutee you learned:
Shatha is studying English partially because she is looking to pursue a PhD in Art Theory. Shana is highly interested in working on her academic writing and speaking skills. Shatha also has difficulty using correct word and verb tenses in both her speaking and writing so that is something we will need to work on.
